Russian criminals have launched a massive shelling of Ukraine’s energy infrastructure destroying sub-stations, power lines and power plants. As a result of these actions, there are increasingly frequent and prolonged power outages on almost the entire territory of the country.
The situation is particularly critical in the hospitals, With frequent outages, they are facing serious difficulties to function properly.
The damage of infrastructure is so great that is will take a long time to repair it.
To help and provide backup power supply sources – green and independent from Russia - Ukrainian «Екоклуб» and the Solar Energy Association of Ukraine started a project to install solar power plants for Ukrainian hospitals. Several organizations across Europe decided to support this action in different countries.
All the money collected by partners in different countries will be transfered to NGO Ecoclub who will use them to cover costs of installation. The installation will be ordered and delivered by local company in Ukraine.
We will keep collecting money as long as we collect the necessary total amount in all the countries together. In case we would manage to collect more than planned, it will be used to purchase bigger installation. NGO Ecoclub will provide financial report after completion of the project which will be published on this website in section COMPLETED
